I mistakenly posted this problem in general.

Well today I erased the alpha and default folders in /usr/share/themes (making the theme very windows 98-ish), and I was able to restore the alpha folder via apt-get install --reinstall.

But now even with the alpha folder back I can't get the default folder back in place and my theme is still ugly as hell.

I know the default folder is just a link to the current theme and i thought it was supposed to get restored after i reinstalled the hildon alpha theme.

Is there any way to make the system automatically restore the default folder?

Thanks in advance
