Just like there exists X-rayN900, I would like to request an app that would serve as geiger counter as I plan to visit Japan and who knows... Looked through some open source apps, but none have all the functionality. Anyone?

Sorry, I am still working to abuse the light sensor to detect the green shiny atoms. Its very hard for testing, since my nuclear reactor at home just broke down recently and my monkey forbid me to repair it.
Maybe I give it a try with the microphone....
... but wait, if we can hear it, we will not need a tool for it anymore...

You should not install monkey-free app with light sensor. False positives all the way. We can hear it, I agree.

well, after thinking a bit about it, it wouldnt be too hard to do something which is better than the x-ray thingy.
The needle deflection could be dependant on the compass and acceleration sensor. This way, a quick tester woudnt really figure it out

Yeah, quick can go, anyone >40 seconds in the zone cannot be considered quick. Accelerometer will be helpful.
