Hi All,

I am trying to mount my N9 to ubuntu host to check if there is any MALF.

I have tried the below tutorial, the ubuntu host detects the device but i am not able to make out whether it is mounted or not.

http://wiki.meego.com/N950/Fixing_MALF_state

after sudo flasher statement,
it gives

sending kernel..
100%
sending intifs...
100%
success.

Nothing after that. please help me...

Well, usually with Ubuntu it should automount your partitions, if it does not do so you could check your kernel log if there is some entry about detecting the USB drive.
The command to do that is "dmesg"

One thing, are you using a real Linux installation or running from a VM installation?

Then I could think of your newly detected devices (partitions) are presented to host (windoze?) only, but not to the guest (ubuntu).
Shut down ubuntu and find in settings the switch for 'present new detected devices automatically to the guest'.
Just thinking out loud and without a VM available here.

Where do you get that kind of info??

I have had no problem ever doing that, it makes no difference what the device size is or if you have modified the mmcblk0 partitions, it will nicely export the partition layout whatever it is.

Of course You mean 64GB, not 32GB ?

I'd say your old device was propably faulty if that is so.
There's no problem with 16GB devices in general.
