Hello,

I own a 64GB n9 running PR1.3 that I use with a prepaid SIM without 3G Internet access since I have access to wifi most places I go.

However, when no known wifi access is available, the phone keeps popping up the "Connect to Internet" menu whenever some random app tried to access the network, and it's really really annoying! If I dismiss it, it comes back 5 seconds later.

I've tried unchecking "Internet connection", which causes the phone to popup a different menu asking for Internet access!

Is there no way to stop the phone trying to connect to the Internet and popping up annoying messages all the time?

Thank you,

Stephen

Try turning of Allow background connection. Both of them.

No good. If the Twitter app is running, it just keeps nagging, and nagging, and nagging.

That didn't help unfortunately. But since it doesn't seem to happen when the Twitter app is not running, the solution appears to be closing the Twitter app...
