This morning an upgrade to the microb package was available, so I took it.
Now: I can open the keyboard even in full screen browser view,

but...

no "open in a new window" command is available, not even with the Opera engine.
Sigh.
Can you confirm please?

I filed that as bug #1796 in maemo bugzilla:
https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1796

Go vote for it because it's quite annoying!

That happened to me too. I went into red pill mode and updated everything that has to do with the opera browser. Also the advanced option on pull down menu was gone as well. The one that allows you to select Tabbed view.If that happened to anyone I did a restore and only restored settings. It came back.

The weird part about it is that I did a fresh flash update and did NOT do a restore using a backup (I didn't make one because people said there were problems doing the flash update and then doing a restore). I reinstalled all of my apps by hand and still ended up with this problem.

Is there any way to fix it without reflashing? I don't have any backups from before or after I reflashed with the latest update.

Is there perhaps an opera config file I can just copy over the one I have that would fix it?

I also have this issue (or is it 3 issues?)
- no 'open in new window' option
- looping when a window opens a popup window
- no advanced option in menu

If anyone knows a fix for this it would be great.
My last flash / backup restore just had email, contacts and bookmarks - ie no settings

Are you using Mozilla (microB)??

When I set engine to opera it works fine, problems when using microb for engine.

"open in new window" is there for opera not for microb, can anyone else confirm???

Firmware does not appear to be the issue?

Well if you installed microB

Then just go to the menu inside of opera, the bottom menu is "set engine" and should contain MicroB and Opera
