Hi everybody!
I've got a problem with my Jolla : while in my car, it can't sync with the radio car system ( Kenwood KVT 729DVD and the bluetooth module KCA BT200 ). It tried ,but the car system wont pair with the Jolla: I can't make/receive a call,the phone can't sync contacts/sms.
I rad that the reason is the PBAP is not supported yet.....( https://together.jolla.com/question/...-is-requested/ ).
Any news about this problem????

Ps: my N9 works great with the car system....

For making and receiving calls, you don't need PBAP support. Sometimes getting a pairing with the car takes a few tries. But it should work eventually.

I don't need PBAP support for calling.
So, at this point, I have 2 problems :
Main Problem) Jolla is not working with the handsfree kit that I've got (the Kenwood aforementioned...). And it's not a problem of just "few times trying" , believe me,Jolla simply doesn't work with it. And is not just me...( http://www.jollatides.com/forums/dis...ree-car-kit/p1).
Derived problem ) due to lack of PBAP it doesn't sync contacts etc etc....

Well topic says about pairing, pairing should work always after few attempts or you are using wrong pin. Pairing and pin entering instructions are in here http://images.kenwood.eu/files/prod/...00%28EN%29.pdf

Sync is not even supposed to work as PBAP is currently not supported. Of course your carkit might just be using profiles that are not supported even for calling. Does handsfree profile work for audio listening?

In fact,when I pair the Jolla seems to work: code accepted (0000),and on the car kit screen appears that the line is "on" .
But : impossible to receive a call; impossible t make a call ; impossible to write sms on the main screen of Kenwood.
So ,it is useless. Ps: after the "pairing" ,Jolla start downloading (phone contacts) for 10 seconds,but nothing happens.
With my N9 everything works fine (even music from N9 to the car kit), and with the Lumia 920 ( calm down!! it's my girlfriend's phone!)

So topic is wrong, pairing works ok. The fact that its useless mostly is that Kenwood uses such bluetooth profiles that are just not supported, so you can forget the main screen for a while.

Next question would be that is it possible to make phonecalls using the phone (forget kenwoods screen) which you can hear over car stereos?

Yeah, maybe You right, paring is ok.
But, up to now, Jolla doesn't seem to have the right blue tooth profile, at least with the "unknown" Kenwood.
If somebody out there got same problem than me,please let me know!

In here Jolla paired with Jabra Cruiser 2, worked once, after that Jabra is mute when connected. After Jolla reboot, it is working again, but worked once only. Dont wanna reboot Jolla everytime when i enter to my car.
