Umm, yes... In the contacts list, besides the name you can either see the initial(s) or an avatar.
If you go to: Settings > Applications > Contacts > Prefer avatars from - you can either choose "No preference" or google, skype, etc.
Well, my preference would be: "No avatar" which you will notice doesn't exist.
However, this being a smart peoples forum I figured someone might know how to force this...

Well, that's Sailfish, if I'm assuming correctly, and my Jolla's display is broken. Also, I couldn't really get used to it as much as I would have liked (in terms of intuitiveness after a quite a few N9's) so it's not going in my N9 (for now ).
).
Anybody know of a way to completely remove the avatars from contacts? I just want the initials to be displayed.
