I upgraded from 1.1 to 1.2, exactly as i did when i went from 1.0 to 1.1.

Did a backup, updated phone, restored backup, then i restored applications.

But this time its broke, i cannot restore any applications, i cannot download any new applications.

My log file is full of apt-worker: Ignoring version from wrong domain:

If i am lucky enough to get it to list any applications to install, for example the facebook widget it just hangs on "downloading 216kb" .

I have no idea what to do to fix it.

Re flash your n900 with a global 1.2.
I have not had a single issue with 1.2.
My pr1.2 upgrade was done as a flash update via computer, (used backup program) and restored my backup and it was fine.

As above. I flashed the emmc too just for completeness and the N900 has been excellent since.

Check your repositories/application catalogues -
Pre PR1.2 the distribution section was 'fremantle' for extras etc
After PR1.2 the distribution is 'fremantle-1.2'
It might be having difficulty trying to restore apps from an old repository.
Or I might be way off the mark - either way it can't hurt to check.
