No answer? So I close the thread. I have reported the issue as bug on the FMTX developer's site.
I downloaded the Simple FMTX desktop widget using the Program Manager without any error message. But the widget does not show up in the list of applications. When I try to place it on the desktop using the desktop setup (toothed wheel), it is neither included in the list of Shortcuts nor Widgets. (The widget is not yet on any of the 4 desktop screens.) Situation does not change when switching off/on the N900 or deinstalling/reinstalling the widget.
I am on a loss of how to install it. Any idea what could be wrong?
