Hi everyone,

I've tried searching but have been unsuccesful so apologies if the answer is in there somewhere...

Is there a way to create a shortcut to a file to make it accessible from a desktop? I need to access a file three to four times a day and this would make it much more user friendly.

Thanks in advance for any pointers!

You can create a .desktop file with whatever command you want (see here: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=23696 ), so create one with a command to run the application that opens your file, with the correct parameters for opening the file.
