Well if you want custom directions you had to make them yourself by clicking and dragging in Google Maps. You could then use the Gmap to GPX bookmarklet, click full, then do a replace all and replace cmt with desc.

The result was a gpx file that worked perfectly in maemomapper! However, something seems to have changed lately.. When you try to do this now, it just says error parsing GPX file on MaemoMapper's end. Any ideas why?

And any other way to get a custom route?
