how can i make java work for nokia n810?

i want to be able to run .jar and .jad files on it.

on this very forum, search for java, and as a search option select "search thread titles only." I think the results will lead you to the right answer. Remember, it's faster to search in the first place, then to have some jerk like me tell you to search after you ask.

i tried installing it but i need lots of help making java work on my n810. please help me,

You want to run J2ME apps, right? Well, you can't.

Here's a good way to explain it.

Standard Java and J2ME both are not officially supported on the device right now, as with the advent of the N900 on the way, it probably never will. There is an alternative, but I've tried to get .jar files to work under it with no success.

Short answer: Java/J2ME won't work on the tablets. Sorry.
