Check on the phone
settings --> Text Input --> use virtual keyboard
May have turned it off?

ok now it is fixed.. i change the device language and reboot. it works . i return to the brevieos language. all is ok now.

Yep its clever enough to know if you have the keyboard out not to put the on screen keyboard out also.
This is recent and I believe right after the new firmware update.
Any ideas?
