Having just set up Skype on my N900 and purchased a skype number along with some credit I found that there didn't seem to be any way to access voicemail, so I email them....

I've just purchased a skype number along with some credit, and set up
voicemail from my PC...could you tell me how I get to hear my voicemail on my Nokia N900?...I really need voicemail and don't want to have to go back
to google voice...advice needed please

We understand that you need to cjheck your Skype voicemail from the
Skype client for the N900.

The now client version does unfortunately not yet support access to
Skype voicemail.

This feature will be added in the near future.

inconveniences!

Just thought I'd share that with you

The problem witht the word "soon" is that there is no indication or even a slight hint to "when".

Could be next week or could be next year....

Good news nonetheless!

I saw that voicemail got disabled in 1.2, is there a way to "hack" it? Is there maybe another way, like calling a number to hear the voicemail?
