Some version of caph have been on extras.devel for a long time, but it is never before announced.

Game is very similar than numpty phycics; draw lines to the screen and they will become rigid bars (or ropes) and gravity will affect them.

Game play video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4uKSGTbrjvA

Keyboard commands:
Code:
T for pause/resume physic (you can draw while it is paused)
S for draw a rope(flexible line or rope in blue color)
A for draw line (black color)
Q for quit the game
backspace for undo last drawn
R for restart level
N for play next level
M for play previous level
Upstream: http://caphgame.sourceforge.net/

Package is on extras-testing, feel free to vote it to the extras:http://maemo.org/packages/package_in...ph/1.1-maemo2/

And install package 'caph'.

I will push this to the extras-testing when I got menu icon working properly.

You won't believe it, but I've discovered this absolutely awesome gem (again by AapoRantalainen - guy, you rox!) just yesterday. It's ideal game for our bellowed device, and work flawlessly (except for slowing down after drawing very heavy object or many, many interacting ones - but, it's not a roadblocker by any means).

Hoever, I've noticed, that it offers *much* more than advertised on this thread - keyboard control from first post is crippled, lacking 2/3 of features (I ensured that all of them are implemented in N900 version).

It even offers super-friendly level editing/creating new levels, which is as easy as drawing things during game!.
Personally, I can't wait for some user-made level packs from N900 users.

Here is full manual from project's readme:

For painting is used mouse or analogue pointing device. First button of pointer
is used for paint object. Second button is used for picking objects in edit
mode or for change object type in game mode.

Regarding keyboard, following list describes keys purposes,

General,

Q - Quit
D/ESC - Delete last added object
T - Time control (on/off)
P - Edit mode (on/off)
R - Reload level
N - Go to next level
M - Go to previous level
K - Save level (to the default save.map) (*)
E - Erase all (*)
H - Do not link object mode (on/off) (*) (**)
U - Brush rotation mode (on/off)

Object types,

A - Select regular object (solid)
С - Select motionless object (*)
S - Select wire object (rope)
B - Select bendable object
X - Select phantom object (color is selected on 1/2/3) (*)
F - Select flying object (*)

Object flags,

4/5 - Toggle player (red) and target (green) flags (*)
L - Toggle loop flag (only for ropes) (*)
G - Toggle background object flag (*)

* - For the edit mode only
** - It does not mean that object does not interact with others
As you can see, there is one thing that we can't get (easily) - using right mouse click to pick objects in edit mode. Hoever, it's not essential by any means, and everything that we could achieve by right-click can be done by just drawing. Frankly, while editing levels, even on desktop, I haven't found any real use for that right-click mode (other uses are to change object type between rope/metal/wire, but it's same as keyboard shortcuts).

Cheers,
/Estel

// Edit

If someone still haven't got it - to edit levels/make your own, you enter edit mode by "P" from keyboard, do your modifications by drawing as usual during playing game (or remove everything and make level from scratch - "E" key is nice way to quickly get rid of all objects) - using keyboard shortcuts to make all those types of objects, that are not accessible during playthrough (solid objects, phantom objects, etc), and then save your level to default file save.map. Then, you move and rename this file, and voila! You're done, you just have created new level.
