I checked in this thread http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=82693 but I'm wondering about if there is any difference in flashing now that I have dual boot.

I think I need to reflash it to original software because I'm going to send it back for repairs since powerbutton is broken and think I need it to have original software instead of the dualboot I got right now..

Any ideas on this?

back up your stuff then flash it like this

flasher -f -F main.bin -F emmc.bin

pow, factory reset phone right there

this will flash the kernel and everything, so it'll be fine.

when you have a clear hardware problem, which has obviously nothing to do with dual boot, you don't need to reflash at all for warranty, at least in EU, not sure for other countries...

Edit: http://fsfe.org/freesoftware/legal/f...evices.en.html

Flashing should not be necessary, they will do it, hence taking a backup is a very good idea!

either way, when you get your device back it's going to be completely stock, since that usual procedure, so flash it now, just incase.

Okey, just tried this now. When I paste command into flasher it says

Microsoft Windows [Version 6.1.7601]
Copyright (c) 2009 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.

C:\Program Files\Nokia\Flasher>flasher -f -F main.bin -F emmc.bin
flasher 3.12.1 (Oct 6 2011) Harmattan
WARNING: This tool is intended for professional use only. Using it may result
in permanently damaging your device or losing the warranty.

FIASCO ERROR: main.bin: No such file or directory

C:\Program Files\Nokia\Flasher>

Then when phone is off and I connect it it just starts up like normal and boots into meego .. don't know what to do
