strange that I´ve never had this issue before with my 2 PR1.2 N9s...
I have a brand new cyan one, swedish 059L7S6...
it seems like a lot of people are having such problems on discussions.nokia.com, too...
and most of them noticed the problem recurs just after any kind of restore...

extract it into your /home/user/MyDocs/.backup and then go to settings, sync and backup, and do restore, choose one that you've downloaded from the link, check your pm

thanks for that, I´ve already deleted it...
I´ve decided to let go of this issue for now as I can at least see the pictures taken with the phone in Gallery app...I´m really tired of clearing, flashing and installing my 35 apps from Store all over again just because damn gallery can´t accept copy and paste in mass storage...
let´s hope there WILL be PR1.3, which make at least a little change in similar strange behaviors...

seems like issue resides in /home/user/.config/user-dirs.dirs
thanx to ibrakalifa, thre's fix:
extract attached archive to for example root of memory card and type in terminal:
edit: probably tracker-control -r will be needed too
