this is what it ends with when i run apt-get update .
problem is in repositories , but how to get rid of it ?

The first 3 are because you've misspelled "repository", and the last 4 are because it's "extras-devel" and not "extra-devel"

Edit: Oh, and it's "extras" for the first one as well, not "extra".

checked my FAM repository manager and it is showing everything same as you both have mentioned in your posts :$
should i check HAM's catalogues ?

Yes. FAM and HAM use different config.

FAM is updating catalogs , let it finish then will update about HAM.

Using "apt-get" on command line will use HAM's config. For using FAM's config on command line youll need to specify the config to use or install special commands like "fapt-get". Search forum for how-to.

i tried fapt-get and it's all working fine now.
