I live at an elevation of 2000m and thought it would be cool to have quick way to check the current uv index with a small widget rather than having to load a webpage or so. Anyone up to the task?

You can use Oculo to display a webpage/part of a webpage as a widget on your desktop:

I tried that, but didnt really work that good. I looked up a few pages, but there u have to hit some button with some java embedded code to get the actual values. Dont know how to do that with that widget.

Found a different website that works with Oculo, but that is slightly overkill...
