I wonder what the problem is.. surely it's not just us N800 users clogging up the pipes!

soypunk, can you check your OS version in Control Panel/About so we can figure out how skype works for you?

Yes, downloading now... Disgustingly slow im sitting at about 4Kb/s

Was hoping to install it before I crash (its about 4am) but I'll wait till tomorrow if the download doesn't stop again. 8Hours 40min remaining *weeps*

Strange...the aforementioned text selection bug still exists if you select a block of text from the end of a sentence/paragraph (right to left), but not if you select left to right. We're halfway there, I guess!!

I'll see about updating this at bugzilla.

If anyone is sharing a mirror version of the .bin file I would love to use it too!

My download gets stalled at 13% then the connection times out.

Hrm, it just says <unknown>.

I flashed it this morning with this image from my Ubuntu laptop:
RX-34_2008SE_1.2007.44-4_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM.bin

very strange, indeed. How about skype? Can you check the version # in application manager/installed apps?
