Leak phone depth: if it's 10mm near the end and noticably convex on both sides, it's not really as thin as you'd first think.

I hope the glass is really scratch resistant, because a convex phone will spin on the glass once it falls to the ground, whereas a flat one would slide and stop.

I can feel all my reservations just fall to the ground, on this phone that lacks so many features I want, but at least will exist...

No, nothing noticable there. it just says "Nokia prototype, not for distribution blah blah" there.

I'm betting it would be more likely to rock than spin.

Yeah, big difference between drop tests and cable tests. Nokia is great about the former, but sure did slack off on the latter with the N900...

Then again, it's my understanding that Nokia actually listened to us and went with a through-hole USB connector here.

and still no one can say why the front cam is at the bottom right corner...

i have tested the position at my n900 (mirror app and holding the phone in my hands upside down) and its (one of) the worst position for video calls...
