N9 with MeeGo 1.2 Harmattan was release

can we used for N900 ?

can we install i? can we multiboot? is it sable or only for developers?hw to install it?

N9's core is a different revision to N900. It's an OMAP 36xx. Not really worth all the effort to convert it to work on the N900.

It's different hardware all over.

Meego linked above is designed for N900.. Stick with that. All functions work as they should

You could always just have a look a the Meego threads?
Yes, we can install.
Multiboot = No.
Install uboot.
Install:
Download image.
use DD to extract to an SD card with one fat32 partition.
Insert SD into N900.
Open keyboard, uboot will boot and type "run mmcboot".
For maemo type "run noloboot"

some threads said that it is sill for devs..i gess i will wai..i have a class 2 sd card

everything about installing meego on n900 is here:

you can try with class 2 sd, because overally it's not for normal use, it has no even multitasking. Install -> See -> Remove
BTW it's mainly for developers

EDIT: you can use multiboot
i have omap + kp47 + nitdroid n12 + uboot (which lets you run meego)

is the theme and icon of meego DE is still not good or worst ?
