Hello,

My device starts resetting itself a couple times a day recently. I am suspecting that increased outside temperatures aren't getting well with my 800 MHz overclocking operation.

Now, I am back to running it at 600 Mhz. Could you tell me what log should I investigate to the find the resetting culprit?

Thanks.

Are you undervolting? That is the most likely suspect, not overclocking itself.

Hi,

I have used the instruction listed in Jakiman's overclocking guide. (Most of the time with ideal setting on, once in a while switch to 1 GHz.) The device was very stable for about a year of overclocked use, however recently I got intermittent resets.

My battery might also be a possible source of resetting since it was getting drained very quickly these days. Maybe some kind of loose contact in the battery. Even tough I can't reproduce all the time, tapping the back of the phone or putting the device on a surface somewhat harder turns it off.
