Ha, the first time this year that I could pivot my screen. That alone was worth it... :-)

How will I be able to test my acceleration sensors apps?
Will it be enough to shake my laptop? 8)

Maybe some kind person from Nokia will be available to shake it (n950) for you (or perhaps produce a noisy sound that will attract their attention). I guess you would have to apply for a device, either through launchpad or community meego.

In any case, I find it useful, since it allows me to learn about file system layouts, installed stock packages and their dependencies, kernel modules and similar things.

the n950 devices are totally offline and unavailable. pity!

All of them are out of reach at the moment.

In the future, if the devices are not accessible, you could send feedback in Nokia Developer feedback forum

or send email to the address mentioned at the bottom of the devices page

I do not think that the RDA admins are reading TMO regularly
