Browsix is a very nice program, a config-free http server which serves your media files as well as the whole filesystem - if you want - on any machine on the same network. You only have to connect to www.browsix.com and on the page you will find link to your android device[s] to browse. It also allows you to read and send sms messages.

Good news for Google! And one more argument for why the patent system needs reformation--especially with regards to software, things that are discoverable (like mathematics and algebra they are discovered, not invented) and things that fall squarely into copyright instead of patents (like the expression of operations by writing them in software).

Good!

Nice find! I can't quite put my finger on it, but I get an uneasy feeling about this piece of software. It seems a little... invasive, but people seem to generally like it. I'm just not sure I would trust it.

I'm not sure how I missed posting this, but right around the time CUT THE ROPE was released in the Android Market, so was...

On the up-side: stream TV shows, movies, clips, etc. over WIFI or 3G/4G, the usual Hulu Plus stuff.

On the down-side: You have to pay $7.99/month, only works in the US, only works on a few supported devices:
• Nexus One
• Nexus S
• HTC Inspire 4G
• Motorola Droid II
• Motorola Droid X
• Motorola Atrix

On the whole, I'm not impressed and there's no way in HELL I'd pay $7.99 every month for streaming video that STILL has ads, but if you simply must have Hulu Plus and you have a compatible device... have at it!

That's not a bad find at all. Reminds me of the B&N Nook Color, except this one has a microphone, camera, USB OTG, HDMI output (hell, already better than the N9 even), MUCH better process, doesn't come with 3G but it's UPGRADABLE TO IT (something I keep calling for!). The screen resolution is poorer than the B&N Nook, though, so that's the only knock I can see here. Otherwise, very comparable. I have to wonder whether it's been optimized for the A9 at all, though--I don't trust tis manufacturer to be as dedicated to optimizations but if CyanogenMod or anyone else can be allowed to poke around... w00t!

I found a video demonstrating it the performance seems pretty good for a Chinatech product

Also 5 inch tablet for only 70 dollars which is incredible, could make a decent Archos 43/ Archos 5 or iPod Touch alternative.

Hey guys, haven't been here in a while since my n900 bricked and I got a Samung Infuse.

Had it for a while and I've accumulated almost 9 pages of apps...
Was wondering if there is any app like Catorize for the n900 for android? Not like making folders in the home screen, like when you click "Applications" from the home screen those folders would come.

Good timing! I asked a similar question today only in regards to the Droid 3.

Anybody have a good idea of comparisons?

The Samsung Infuse has a very nice screen.
