I've tried to install some protocols for default messenger and I got this dpkg error , here is the log . I'ts third time when this happens to me , so far I fixed it with reflash . Here is the log .

You need to (as root) edit the /var/lib/dpkg/info/account-plugin-salut.postinst file and comment out (by preceding the line with a #) or delete line 6 (which will refer to /etc/init.d/avahi-daemon). Then run "apt-get -f install" to get all the packages properly configured.

Another problem caused by catblock application . now I cant even remove it . any solution please ?

Done , I fixed it . I used :

sudo gainroot
rm /var/lib/dpkg/info/catblock.prerm
rm /var/lib/dpkg/info/catblock.*inst
apt-get purge catblock

felt ******ed, all i needed was

apt-get purge telepathy-theonering

and everything is now good to go

simply use

apt-get -f install ..

it will fix everything for u
