URL OK : http://cba.fro.at/rss/entriesfrombro...ndungen_id=186
URL problem : http://i94bar.podbean.com/feed/
URL problem : http://feeds.feedburner.com/GaragePu...sts?format=xml

Any help welcome.

but I guess this place is more appropriate. Anyway thanks for a GREAT program !
Thanks ichmoimeyo and divinerites for the bugreports, I think I've diagnosed the problem!

Podsync didn't follow 'Location:' directives, which were used in those podcasts.

Version 0.0.8 is now available, which should fix this problem.

Please test and let me know if it works :-)

That fixed it! Got all my podcasts now. I'll give it a more thorough testing later. Thanks!

I installed the 0.0.8, thru the given URL but strangely the installed version reported is 0.0.7 (!?)

And the 2 problematic feeds still does'nt work.
I also removed the 2 list (all and new in the poscast folder) but no luck.
Let me know if you want me to check more things.
Thanks.

Oops, I forgot to update the version number, should now be fixed.

Those feeds do work for me now tough, so it seems it didn't update the podsync binary on your device.

Could you try to uninstall / reinstall from the new package? Let me know if thats solves it, otherwise I have some other options we could try :-)

thanks whouweling; I am still running your version 0.0 5 under os2007 and will be unable to give you feedback until I eventually switch to os2008 [unless you are considering coming out with an updated version for us os2007 folks ]

Just thought I'd chime in and let you know I installed Podsync and it's downloading all of my podcast feeds brilliantly. I decided to go ahead and take the dive into OS2008, but I was using Video Center on OS2007 and needed something to replace it. I even got it to download some of the Video Center video podcasts too, something I didn't expect. Again, brilliant work!

Hi there,

I've added a wiki page on podcast aggregators:

Feel free to contribute.

Cheers

I'm having some trouble with This American Life's feed: http://feeds.thisamericanlife.org/talpodcast. Podsync seems to be downloading and processing the feed correctly, but the URL for the mp3 file links to a 302 temporary redirect that the program doesn't seem to be following. e.g. http://feeds.thisamericanlife.org/~r...145103/323.mp3 redirects to http://podcast.thisamericanlife.org/podcast/323.mp3

Instead of the MP3 file, I get a file h323.mp3, containing
Code:
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN">
<html><head>
<title>406 Not Acceptable</title>
</head><body>
<h1>Not Acceptable</h1>
<p>An appropriate representation of the requested resource /podcast/323.mp3 could not be found on this server.</p>
<hr>
<address>Apache/2.0.54 (Fedora) Server at podcast.thisamericanlife.org Port 80</address>
</body></html>
Downloading the MP3 file with wget seems to work fine though. Maybe an command line switch need to be removed?
