All of the info makes it seem dangerous to re-flash an N900 using a 64-bit Windows OS. Is this so? Has anyone flashed their N900 with Windows 7 64-Bit Professional?
Anything I should be aware of or need to do to protect the N900 for the re-flash with the Win 64 Pro?

Thanks everybody for helping me to prevent bricking my N900!

David

It works like a treat. You even get Aero working by default.
Minesweeper is a lot of fun.

I flashed 3 times on my netbook w/ Win 7 Home Premium 64bit. Worked like a charm once i got past the usb-update mode issue using inf-wizard. Once you get Windows to use that driver for connecting N900, it's fine.
