Will be availabe early 2012 and interestingly enough there is another quad core rumored for the Samsung Galaxy III.

They will be battery eaters for sure.

They all (nvidia, qualcomm) claim that these future quad core chips will be more efficient than current crops of dual cores out today.

And I don't doubt them.

Another thought to consider: bleeding-edge tech developed to address extreme mobile needs could benefit desktop and laptop hardware also.

That's old this is new

the one on that thread states that it will be this 2011 and only has 1.5ghz. But still all I want is just a freaking phone that would last at least a day with maximum usage. *sigh*
