@pali, https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6996
does this have something to do with kernel? *not kernel power*
im on pr1.3 + kp49.. and yea.. it never went away *pr1.3 didnt fix it*
can you do something about it, or guide me to the appropriate forum?

Is it possible to overclock DSP beyond 600 MHz? I tried

Code:
kernel-config lock 1000 60 610
and editing my OC profile but

Code:
kernel-config show
shows only 600 MHz. Even tried higher freqs than 610 but nothing happened and the DSP performance didn't change.

I don't think you'll be pushing it further than that. It's probably just not enabled in the kernel. 600MHz on the C64x is pretty high - higher than the stock clock for the 3530's.

BTW, Palm Pre devices are supposedly running at 1.2GHz. Can we pull that off on the N900 or are we capped to 1.15?

I like the way this man thinks.

Here's a curiosity, gents.

Same-day flash, PR1.3 ; changed MyDocs to ext3 (as per http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=73478), resized /home partition via custom eMMC (used the hexedit method) swap on sdcard (as per http://wiki.maemo.org/User_talk:Westwallpoma#Swap_Space).

Installed power-kernel from Fapman, reboot and hildon has no theme. Not font, no nothing

Checking the filesystem and /opt is empty apart from a phython directory. Checked mounts /opt is definitely bind mounted from /home/opt which is the same.

Very odd. I've done this a couple of times now - following the same steps and taking various other (subsequently proven to be) non-effecting steps out. Very near the end of discovering what the problem is. Just wondered if anybody else encountered such an issue.

Note - nothing obvious from searching this thread.

I don't think this has anything to do with kernel-power, but:

The directory /usr/share/themes/ contains all the stored themes.
The currently applied theme is just a symlink at /etc/hildon/theme pointing to one of the installed themes.
Make sure that that is pointing to a correct and existing theme.

Sorry if this has been already answered or if it has nothing to do with kernel power... but since I installed v48 I'm having a strange problem:
When I write a SMS or in the terminal, if I held down the backspace key, it only erase one character. Before installing kernel power, when I held down a key, it kept doing the action untill I stop pressing. With backspace, the arrow keys, etc.

What can I do?

Thanks and sorry for my english.
