one solution to get the fullscreen keyboard to appear is to press two thumbs on the screen at the same time. (e.g. in notes)

I am waiting for my N810 to arrive (hopefully tomorrow) and will probably do a little testing and a straight upgrade after it. Do I really need the Windows upgrade tool? If so does it run with Wine?

This OS works with my Motorola HS850 mono bluetooth headset WITH SKYPE !

NICE. Now the N800 is really complete. Skype VOIP with bluetooth. Awesome.

There is no reason to believe the bluetooth headset won't work with RTCOMM and other apps. I have already tested it with Media Player, Skype, Streaming music from the Web with the browser. It all worked as as it should.

I'll install RTCOMM later today and try it with Sippphone, voipbuster, magicjack, and abbeyphone (with the HS850 bluetooth headset), and I'll report back.

Glad you guys answered him... I was ready to...

I can't even refresh the application list at this time... it takes FOREVER.

Actually I am both PLEASED and ANGRY with that situation.

Angry because they should get some better bandwidth and servers.

Pleased because this shows that this device is REALLY POPULAR. Good! Let's hope it STAYS popular.

After 8 hours of downloading the n810 image it finished and MD5's didn't match up to the MD5's hosted by Nokia =/ I get ..

Code:
e926ac0fa7c164b6db298d425e451af8 RX-44_2008SE_2.2007.50-2_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM.bin
and Nokia lists ..

Code:
25292105f0769680828ea2ccd36d6807 RX-44_2008SE_2.2007.50-2_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM.bin
But what's another 8 hours right? Any chance anyone can host this image yet? I've been checking the thread all night hoping for a faster connection with no luck.

Is my .mac link on page 7 no good now?

Edit: OK. Now I notice you wanted an N810 image. Mine's for an N800.

Pablo:

I think you got something wrong:

I dloaded it, actually from some other ftp site, not from Nokia but I did get the MD5SUMS file from Nokia, here are my results:

# md5sum RX-34_2008SE_2.2007.50-2_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM.bin

Perfect matches of MD5SUMS.

So be careful which file you got, make sure it is the right one before putting it into your NIT.

Cheers

There is no need to install RTcomm its already there if you go to your accounts settings to add IM services etc under SIP.

Just to clarify I was downloading the RX44(N810) version of OS2008 Final, not RX34(N800). AFAIK no one has hosted the N810 version anywhere yet.
