Hi,

Just got my second N9 (first was damaged) and I can't get the USB charging door open no matter how hard I push on the push here lump bit.

I looked at videos and other ppl seem to open the door ok, what am I doing wrong please help! How can I get this open without damaging the door?

The door covering the SIM slot next to the USB-door uses a sliding mechanism! Try gently pulling it away from the USB-door and at the same time try opening USB-door. It really should not take any effort to open the door.

Thanks for the reply, tried that just now, even put my nail in the little slot to gently move Sim cover to the left whilst sliding my right finger over the USB port to the right of the phone no joy .

I do not want to force this open, It looks like my second N9 will be going back and I wll have to get something else, so, so dissapointed

Got it open, had to push down and fingernail under door, not a great design
