Ok, I could start scummvm by going to the terminal

Code:
cd /opt/scummvm/bin
./scummvm
Can you please fix the mouse cursor when going in to fullscreen?
Thanks again!

Edit: Maybe you can add the option to enable and disable swipe...
(So that when you're in the options menu, you can swipe ScummVM to the background...)
Kinda annoying when you play a point and click game with swipe enabled

Edit 2:
And a way to save a game
The N900 makes use of the volume buttons to go to the menu.
It's perfect on the N900, I hope I can enjoy ScummVM on the Harmattan aswell!

Can't wait to have scummvm on my n9! It seems you guys are in the middle of making it work, so a normal user like me should probably wait for the next release, or what do you think?

Maemo is being officialy maintained by ScummVM, I've already repported the the keyboard and volume keys issues on the N900:
http://forums.scummvm.org/viewtopic.php?t=11077
tsoliman already made a fix for the keyboard problem and I applied a patch for the volume keys from version 1.3.1. I've also added a shotcut for the in-game menu:
ctl+volume+
Here is the debian package I build with those fixes:

(I couldn't wait to plan Lands of Lore on my n900 )

Can you also build it for Harmattan?

Screw Harmattan, any ETA on Maemo version coming as update into repositories? former versions are there, so, why not this time?

Now I am a maintainer of ScummVm package, I'll upload the 1.4.0 version with the fixes I've posted before in the next few days

Hi all,

I am the current port maintainer of the Maemo port of scummvm at scummvm.org.

Here's some history as to why 1.4.0 shipped with no official support for N900.
  • The old maintainer released 1.2.1 and didn't release 1.3.0 or 1.3.1 because he was busy and the project leadership wanted to drop official support for the maemo port unless it was refactored to be more acceptable (that's where I came in and took over the work from fanoush)
  • I only own an N810. fanoush had all of them I think.
  • I've been calling out to N900 owners to test the daily builds that I've been making available on the scummvm.org forum.
I even made a post in this site in a place where I now realize is dedicated to OS2008.
  • The only N900 owner that responded was NerdKnight and that was after the release.

So a lot of is my fault and I hope to correct it with the official 1.4.1 or 1.5.0 release (whichever comes first)

I will be working with NerdKnight to provide packages for N900 in the maemo.org repos. We are now both maintainers on Maemo.org

NerdKnight is obviously more involved with maemo.org and will help out here, while I will mostly check the scummvm.org forum and bug tracker.

Thanks to all of you for your support and special thanks to NerdKnight for bringing the bugs to my attention so I could fix them and also bring up the fact that no one had been uploading the packages to maemo.org repos.

I don't know.
There is a lot of hostility for Harmattan on this forum...

It is the most active forum, so yes.
