Mobile Phones Baselayer SW team in Oulu is now looking to strengthen its competence with Senior Linux SW Engineer. In this interesting and challenging role your tasks will include development, integration and troubleshooting of Linux kernel and related low-level user space components.

Qualifications

In order to join our team, you are fluent in C and familiar with Linux kernel - user space interfaces, and/or low-level hardware interfacing. You are well acquainted with the overall Linux architecture and have extensive experience on agile SW development methods (scrum, unit testing, continuous integration). You have also understanding of common Linux SW development tools. Knowledge of Cellular chipsets and mobile phone HW interfaces and peripherals is needed.

Experience in product development and interaction with open source communities is a definite plus. Interaction with chipset suppliers is part of daily work. Therefore good communications skills are needed.
