okey im reinstalling all again, following the code again.
Im directly following the code without installing anything before, am i doing it right? i just pasted the 3x files in .nitdroid and started to follow the code.

here is the error that i get, i started the code again, everything was ok until here:

/and # rm /home/user/MyDocs/.nitdroid/N12_UMay.tar
/and # cp /opt/NITDroid-Installer/FileManager.apk /and/system/app/
cp: cannot stat '/opt/NITDroid-Installer/FileManager.apk': No such file or directory

Please read the postings!

You have NITDroid-Installer_0.2.8-8.deb from first post, which seems to have different folders for installation and that's why you get the error.

Basically you try to execute the latest installer script per hand with an older nitdroid-installer version.

and how can i unistall that version, im trying with unistall icon in the menu but xterminal closes suddenly when i try it.

hello guise, sorry to barge in unannounced, I've been trying to install Nitdroid too and I've been following the steps given to tyger so far :P nevertheless I got stuck on the "opt" part too.

I do have the right file though, the error that pops up is the following:

cp: cannot create '/and/system/app/': path does not exist

so... should I create the folder or... ???? or what? :S

im reinstalling all again, i installed the kernel through the application manager, as well as the installer, i think i did wrong installing the kernel cuz u didn't tell me to do it, but i realised after that lol.
Im following the steps now, ill say if i get stuck again

i think i did all right, i reached the last step: dpkg......nitdroid-kernel*.deb should i dont do this step cuz i installed though application manager the kernel?
what should i do now to run nitdroid, if i reset my n900 i will be able to select nitdroid?
