Being easily reproducible, useful logs/data can be more readily gathered.

*Suspect your issue's #198, which I mentioned to you previously IIRC.
If it is, your new report will be quickly merged...
But more useful info than was collected last time may appear, you never know.
Yes I will need to enable logging on the phone, hopefully I will be able to reproduce the issue again soon. However, it seems similar to bug 198.

As a temporary solution try to disable always-on mode for a few minutes or reboot the phone. Without logs I can only guess what is wrong on your device, but I suppose that for some reason IDLE connection can't be established.

Didn't test it yet. Probably I'll create a simple UI app that allow users to edit accounts values. It should be easier then editing it manually

I hope that a fix for this issue will be available soon.
Probably you got bug#198. However, I think that might be a different issue.

Hi All,

I am tring to setup my new N9 to collect my office email using MfE, but I am getting certificate error's.

I first tried selecting 'Always Trust' in the mail settings, but this hasn't worked, so out of curiosity I browsed directly to the mail server in the N9 web browser, this gives me the following error:

Code:
Security certificate is not trusted

owa.domain.com uses an invalid security certificate that cannot be trusted.
Now obviously this looks like there is a real problem with the certificate, but it works on a desktop browser and on other mobile platforms. Unfortunately the certificate is out of my control.

Is there anyway I can add it as a trusted certificate?

The certificate on the company mail server is issued by VeriSign Class 3 Secure Server CA - G2

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance, Nic

If you remember, it'd be great if you could tell us the outcome of your testing.
Otherwise, so long as you definitely will eventually, that's good enough I guess.

Probably you got bug#198. However, I think that might be a different issue.
Actually just the other day I was asking him if he ever heard back from you.
Did you get a chance to analyze those logs yet, anything revealing found?

Finally, there was at least one post before your last post that you missed.

IIRC there was one or two others too, but I "kinda" answered them.

Cheers

Just checked this now on 1.2 beta and this has been fixed. Thanks!

Why can't I select text in an email or and sms? Really needs to be implemented.

Well, I spent a few minutes on tests and it doesn't look bad Anyway I decided to write a simple UI app that should allow to enable some "unsupported" features like "Download all emails" (instead of 2 weeks only) etc. Also, I have in my plans to add in this app a simple folder's mapper (could be really useful for servers that are not support XLIST).
Most probably first version of this app will be available on the next week

NOTE: It will be available on a github.

Yes and moreover hopefully I fixed this bug (the fix will be under testing quite soon). However, I'm not sure that this fix can go to PR1.2.

No, I didn't miss it . Like I said before atm there is no way to fix this client certificate issue (it is not supported by the AS code). Unfortunately as far as I know it is not in our plans to add this in PR1.2. However, I'm 99,9999999& sure that certificates will work fine in PR1.3

Hi Alberto! I remember that we had a bug about something similar. Most probably this issue should be fixed in PR1.2.

Try to play with certificates in Settings->Security->Certificates. Nothing else going on my mind atm.

Thanks for the information, I think I figured it out, it appears the Class 3 Secure Server CA - G2 is an intermediate certificate and wasn't on the device (I'm running PR1.1) I added the certificate and everything appears to be working as I would expect now.

Thanks

N950 with beta PR1.2 installed via OCF. My Google Apps account setup as a MfE account on the N950 does not sync on schedule. But if set up as a plain Google account, it seems to adhere to the schedule. Anybody else experiencing this?
