The quality of info available across this forum is what makes the N900 so good IMHO

My son left his phone at a friends house, asked me to find it using SMSCON, which worked fine but turned on the unused (and it turns out, forgotten) lock code.

But through these forums I was able to flash just the rootfs, extract the DES hash and decode using John the Ripper.

I've been a long time member and lurker here without posting and have many many people to thank for the many things I can do with my N900.

Hi all,

I'll be damned if i ever forget the password... lol

What i want to know is what can i do if i "forget" my password in order "to punish" myself and never been able to get anything from my N900?
