You can edit the keyboard yourself as ENNINE had described few posts above. It is very easy and you will be able to customize up to your exact preferences.
Need to get a Bluetooth keyboard, then I shall be back to playing with everything :P

Well Nokia do at least know how to build a decent phone, just apparently don't know how to support it..

Anyway - have in mind that you can perform all this commands when you do SSH session to N9 from your PC/laptop thus having the comfort of working on a fullsize HW keyboard you are accustomed to.
