Sorry not to follow the instructions, I have no time.
Just a suggestion: what about a "search" like Andriod 2.0?
You start typing "Ph" and it shows ALL "things" starting or containing "Ph" like Photos application, and so on.
Like windows Vista's search too.

Its a easy way to reach any application.

I know that's the shortcut for contacts, but could have an option to select contacts or application mode.

I've heard that this is on its way. Maybe in next software update? I'm not sure. I'd love this feature too!

All "things"?
a systemwide search key-combination would be useful with a popup to choose between files and databases (contacts, calendar, IM etc)
