for some reason my double tap to wakeup isn't working? it comes and goes, i've tried restarting the phone, disabling it and reenabling it, only thing is a reflash, could there be something wrong with the touch screen?

seems my body protector was interfering somehow, i took it off and it worked fine, it's the rubber one.

Body protector? You mean the silicon one that's included with the phone package?

yeah, i had three and never had a problem with the black one, but when i used the green one it was weird, so i took it off and its worked fine since.

Yeah that's defo weird. I've not had any probs with the original black Nokia cover, in fact it does it's job perfectly.

When you mention your green cover am I correct in assuming it's not a Nokia one?

well ive gone back to the black one and since its worked perfectly

isolation. just hold finger at back metal part of phone body, and all will work.
