AFAIK Tizen IVI is MeeGo-based while Tizen Phone/Tablet is Limo-based.

Btw, is it just me or does the photo of the RIM developer OS on BBC today look a bit like Harmattan?

Nokia sues RIM, HTC, etc for patent infringement on (amongst other things) "software features like multitasking"?

It would be funny, if not so miserably pathetic. It seems that they spent too much time with micros$$t.

GREAT NOKIA!!!

You did it AGAIN

So how much intrests will RIM have in Qt if Nokia still is sponsoring it and then Nokia is ridicilous enought to patent troll on for example Multitasking

(I can understand it in atntenna stuff and similar but NOT software!!!

I assume Elop is pondering day and night how to drive Qt against the wall and have it look like an accident. Sueing RIM would perfectly fit into this strategy.

Nokia proprietary innovations protected by these patents are being used by the companies to enable hardware capabilities such as dual function antennas, power management and multimode radios, as well as to enhance software features including application stores, multitasking, navigation, conversational message display, dynamic menus, data encryption and retrieval of email attachments on a mobile device.
It is about hardware capabilities to enhance software features like multitasking.

If nokia won't care why should we ? And I think this BB 10 will help the QT ecosystem

Has anyone else noticed how RIM appear to be taking all of the best bits from the other OS's and bundling them together or just me?
