IMHO its not healthy for everyone to play with system files

why don't you make a simple interface an app(would be better) or widget or menu control anything..

that has just one button/control

ie
Enable D2 transition
(that will replace D2 transition.ini & backup Original)

Disable D2 transition
(that will restore original from backup)
