I installed Quick Voice Input Keyboard from the store today. I did reboot the phone as instructed. A few hours later, on changing the keyboards, the phone hung up on me. It's been several minutes and nothing is happening. The device is turned on, with display on (a SMS conversation) and it does not react in any way to anything. Pressing the power/lock button does not help. I used to log on remotely using 'netview' vnc so without the application running in the background I cannot log on to do a shutdown from the shell.

How to reset the phone? I am afraid that the screen will be damaged before the battery runs out.

Okay, after keeping the power button pressed for several minutes (sic!) the phone shut down. Rebooted as normal. Quite weird.
