Is it possible to run the N900 with a other or a better OS such as MeeGo or android ?

You can run the N900 with Maemo 5

on maemo talk / os platform there are a view os for installation. but it seems to me, maemo is the best for n900. some times i play with nitdroid or nemo/mer, but not for long. maemo is still better for normal use.

rofl for the bolded part, especially for android, and when you think human stupidity cant get any worse...

Thinking about switching to a newer device? Not sure if your favorite Maemo/Harmattan application has an equivalent or substitution? Android sucks way less than people around here tend to shout; you should check my personally-made substitution list.
