how to have a boot video with an owner's nick or name ? i assume that is possible.but how ?

sorry fren..
just need a little help for my device...wen i try to edit the file, it says read only file....i cannot edit the file and change the bootvideo.pls help.

install leafpad and try editing again

Have you found a solution to adding the owner name?

Hi, I'm new here. I created a Harry Potter defeating Voldemort bootscreen and added that flashy Nokia N900 effect that someone else made to the end of it.

yes bootscreen will do it. since repos are down. download .deb from here.

after a reboot it worked....thanks..im enjoying it....
but after shut down a punk sound...is it normal??
