yes it works, and in my case without irreco (not even installed)

I found that after installing irreco the /etc/lircd.conf becomes empty; instead you should have the following lines in your /etc/lircd.conf :

include "/opt/pykake/cameras/canon/RC-1"
include "/opt/pykake/cameras/nikon/ML-L3"
include "/opt/pykake/cameras/olympus/RM-1"
include "/opt/pykake/cameras/pentax/RC-F"
include "/opt/pykake/cameras/minolta/RC3"

cipper, my lircd.conf is exactly filled with that lines.

Hi yabba,

Thank's for the very useful software. I have also got it working on my Sony Nex5n, by replacing cipper's code (thank's cipper).

Awesome. Just tried this with my Pentax K-5. Works very well. Nice to have the IR port on the N900.
