Do you have multiboot installed to start Nitdroid and Maemo?
Do you have kernel-power_V49 or V_50 installed?
Did you try to just flash the kernel of the firmware image. From time to time those experimental goodies may corrupt the kernel if things crash. Here is the part in the wiki http://wiki.maemo.org/Updating_the_t...rt_topic.21.29
This might lead to a running device, then proceed the steps, you were trying. Else the device stays in an unusual state, where help might be difficult to give.
