How do I check the manufacturing date or life timer on N9? I just bought my N9 second hand which should have been only few weeks old but the condition of the screen and case tells me otherwise.

Have you tried the basic *#0000# and *#06# stuff? I can see only Imei and Software version with this, but.. Get the IMEI and try your Service Provider or the place where it SHOULD be bought to check that. Atleast in Finland you can check the day when it's bought by phone IMEI.

First of all, in Your place I'd returne N9 if don't like it or stop thinking about it and enjoy this powerful device

But You can get Phoenix for Your self, and read that kind of info:

- Life Timer



- Phone info
