I found from http://www.nokia.com/ph-en/support/p...ssaging&page=4 that
"Yes, Nokia N9 lets you configure more than one Mail for Exchange (MfE) account. You can, however, sync the contacts with only one of the accounts."

That was the reason for me at least.

After a clean flash (Zeroize device) contact sync working for me. The only prerequisite is to be online with server before searching
