ok i tried the same thing in root and i get this error. (emulator runs good) but i want to map the keys to the keyboard. the error it gives me is..

"process 4417: D-Bus library appears to be incorrectly set up; failed to read machine uuid: Failed to open "/var/lib/dbus/machine-id": No such file or directory
See the manual page for dbus-uuidgen to correct this issue.
D-bus not built with -rdynamic so unable to print a backtrace
Aborted."

i did however try the fceu on the first page bora2 as bora4 gives me libdus 1-2 error and i was able to map keys with out the error above.

I get an error opening "gamepad1" running as user and
"process 4417: D-Bus library appears to be incorrectly set up; failed to read machine uuid: Failed to open "/var/lib/dbus/machine-id": No such file or directory
See the manual page for dbus-uuidgen to correct this issue.
D-bus not built with -rdynamic so unable to print a backtrace
Aborted."

when running as root.

How did you get it to work?

Thanks for porting this emulator. I downloaded and tried it out yesterday on my N800 (running OS2008). I only played for half an hour but I love it. I tried Tecmo Bowl and River City Ransom with it.

But I do have a question, in River City Ransom, you need to press both A and B at the same time to jump. Is there a way the onscreen controls support that?

Tak said you can download fceultra on your comp, remap the keys there and then copy it over to your n810. I'm going to give that a try tonight, hopefully it works

I have a suggestion concerning the double keypress issue. what about adding another on-screen button that turns the B key on and off. Just like Capslock and Shift on your keyboard.

At least for the super mario games, that should do the trick.

Besides that, i'm really happy with this emulator project. kudos!
